Kulfi is a popular frozen Indian dessert also known as Indian Ice cream.  This desert is also widely consumed with falooda (Noodles prepared from Arrowroot) and gond katira. This is very high in calories so belly watcher shouldn’t indulge with this desert. This Kulfi recipe is very easy to follow and made quickly. This is so delicious that you will love to make it regularly.


  • 1 kg full cream milk
  • 250 gms milk powder
  • Mix chopped dryfruits 1 cup (pista, almond, cashew, kishmish)
  • 10 strands kesar
  • ½ tsp green cardamom powder
  • Sugar approximately ½ cup (You can change the quantity according to taste)


Step 1

Take milk and boil it. At boiling point reduce the heat till half of milk remains.

Step 2

Put milk powder in ½ cup of cold milk or at room temperature. Mix it properly no lumps should be formed. You can also use hand blender for it.

Step 3

Mix sugar, dry fruits and other ingredients.

Step 4

Cool it at room temperature and put it into kulfi moulds.

Step 5

Keep kulfi moulds in freezer and after 5-6 hours relish the kulfi.
