Vegetable lasagna recipe is a very simple recipe to try at home. Vegetable lasagna is originally a Italian dish and is very delicious to eat. Vegetable Lasagna is a complete  dish in itself and it will make the holiday a special for the children. It is a variety of pasta and comes in sheets. This is one of the oldest form of pasta.


  • 15 Boiled lasagna sheets
  • 200 grams mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups of mixed vegetables ( I prefer to use onions, capsicum and olives)
  • 6 tbsp of pizza pasta sauce
  • Mixed herbs for seasoning (oregano, basil, parsley) and crushed red chillies


Step 1

First of all boil lasagna sheets with 1 tbsp salt and 2 tbsp oil added in boiling water.

Step 2

When it is done keep strain and keep aside.

Step 3

Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degree.

Step 4

Take a pan add 1 tbsp oil and add vegetables and stir fry for 2 minutes . Add 1/2 tsp salt.

Step 5

Tale a large baking dish. Prepare first layer by placing 5 sheets of lasagna. Divide other material into three portions. Apply one portion of pizza pasta sauce add vegetables to it. Add grated mozzarella cheese. Put herbs and chilies on it. Your first layer is ready. similarly prepare other two layers.

Step 6

Bake it for 25 minutes or until it becomes golden brown.
